On Bailey's birthday morning she woke up to a few presents, then went off to school. While she was at school, my mom and I had about 3 hours to transform her surprise new bedroom decor. We were doing okay until we decided to paint all of the circles in her room, and didn't have paint brushes. It felt a little like one of those home decorator shows, where the countdown started and we had to rush around to beat the clock! Bailey's face is priceless when she saw the transformation, the video is at the end of all the pictures.
After school we met up with the Irelands, who couldn't join us for dinner, but we still got to see them for some fun girl time with pedicures. After we had a little treat at In-N-Out for french fries.
Dinner that night was spent with both grandparents, and our neighbors Anne and Darrel and their kids. At Bailey's request, we had spare ribs from my mom. I also got to make my world famous (well, at least to 10 or 12 people it is) creme brule. No cake for this kid!
Tomorrow we are off to Disneyland for a fun nights stay at the Disneyland Hotel!
