Bailey Starts Kindergarten

School has officially started here in sunny Southern California since it's about 95 degrees out! Bailey woke up this morning shouting, "Today is my special day!" It's so nice to have a child ready for kindergarten, no tears, no crying, just excitement! I can't imagine where she gets her love for school from ☺ My mom, Colby, Raif and I all walked Bailey to school this morning for her big first day.

Dressed and ready to go.

Raif's 1st Day of Preschool

Raif's 1st day of preschool went fairly well. I had to sit with him for about 15 minutes during rug time, and then they got to have some independent play. That was when I quickly made my exit, and he was just fine after that. The first day we decided to not do lunch, so I picked him up about an hour early and he wasn't quite ready to come home yet. We've asked him if he wants to go back and he keeps saying yes! We'll see how tomorrow goes.

Dropping off his stuff in his cubby.
Not into picture taking.

Goofing around.

It would have been really cute if he were actually looking at the camera, but hey, he was happy!

Sleepover

Remember this one:

I do just like it was yesterday. It was Reagan's Uncle Sean and Aunt Molly's wedding, and Colby and I picked up Reagan to have her spend the night so the entire Ireland family could celebrate. It was the only time Reagan has ever spent the night with us until...
Last night

So, it wasn't your "typical" sleepover. Reagan wasn't quite ready to stay by herself. Colby was in San Diego so Sarah, Reagan and Paige all had a sleepover last night.

Sarah and I had a great time talking with just the two of us WAY past our bedtime. The kids also had a great time playing, up way past their bedtime.
