Father's Day Weekend

For Father's Day, Colby wanted to go to Avalon for the opening day of the fishing club he belongs to, The Avalon Tuna Club. We left early Saturday morning and got their mid morning. We had lots of fun on the boat and got to go to the Tuna Club for their porch party. Sunday morning, we gave Colby his gifts and did a little fishing off the boat. Bailey caught her first fish, probably the best Father's Day gift of all. Raif had fun sitting off the edge of the boat throwing the little bobber we tied onto his fishing pole. We didn't catch anything, except his fishing pole every time he threw it off the boat! We ended Father's Day at Ruby's diner, which is where Colby's dad wanted to go. I'm sad I didn't get to see my dad, but know they are having a fabulous time in Germany!

Raif had fun squirting everyone with the hose.
I shall call you, "Little Devil"
Raif didn't want to share with Bailey
Not sure what he's looking for?
Bailey got to drive the little boat!
Bailey and Daddy
Lily was freaking me out walking along the outside of the little boat
Not bad picturing taking, Bailey!

Raif "fishing" off the stern of the boat
It's hard to see, but Raif is trying to copy his Daddy and has a fishing rod in his hand
I got a turn to help Bailey out, we didn't catch anything.
Such concentration
Proud Daddy!

BOYS!

I gave Raif his yogurt to eat this afternoon, and instead of eating it he put it in his hair. Boomer is in the background looking quite embarrassed for him! I didn't want to promote it, but had to get video of it because it was really quite funny!

Congratulations Jaymee- Middle School Graduation

Raif got to go and hang out with Paige at Sarah and Aaron's house. Bailey did such a wonderful job, what an amazing difference from one year ago. Her ballet skills are improving, and she had such a fun time. Flowers for our little ballerina

Bye-Bye Braces

Lexy has been wearing braces for 3 years, and finally got them off yesterday. My sister had Jaymee and two of Lexy's friends waiting at the house for a little surprise ice cream party to celebrate the day!

Lexy was all smiles to show off her new, straight teeth!!

Breakfast of Champions

The other morning, Raif found the ice cream cones in the morning and would NOT stop crying until I gave him one. So...sometimes a mom has to get a bit creative.

I filled up Raif's ice cream cone with yogurt and presto! A not so bad breakfast and one happy 19 month old.

Note: I do not always give him what he wants, but this kid has a hard enough time eating so a little ice cream cone with yogurt is not going to kill him. He hasn't asked for it since so, no harm no foul!

My wild hair after the catamaran cruise, there's a reason I wore a scarf...imagine what it would have looked like without one!

Waiters were slow, so a girls gotta sometimes sit on the bar to get her drink!

Our good friend Paul turned 50 in May. A group of 12 of us headed on over to Cabo to celebrate in style. If you know Paul, you know he does things first class. 4 huge loungers were set up each day for us to lounge pool side, get bottle service, and have a wonderful time poolside. Our rooms were all within 10 feet of the pool, so we walked out each morning, plopped down poolside, and had a relaxing fun-filled day. Each night we dined on delicious food, the finest restaurants Cabo has to offer. Paul rented a catamaran for one morning and we sailed along the coast and went snorkeling. We are so glad we got to celebrate with Paul.
Happy 50th Birthday Paul
