Naples Island has a yearly tradition of decorating your front door to honor May Day. When I got the flyer I was inspired to have a May Day Play Date for Bailey and a few friends. What started as a small play date turned into a bit bigger of a party. I thought how fun it would be to include the grandma's for the play date, since they don't always get to see their grandkids interact with other kids. We had a great time with 11 kids in total and 10 adults...a pretty good ratio. The kids got to color flower pictures, make a lei (I was reaching out to my Hawaiian roots since May Day is Lei Day in Hawaii), and plant a flower. We had beautiful weather to picnic outside and the kids all had a wonderful time.
