My mom bought a Moroccan cooking class at an auction for the Long Beach Public Libraries last June. We finally got around to making the date for our Moroccan extravaganza. And what an event it was. Our host, Leslye lives up in Palos Verdes with a beautiful view. We learned how to cook baklava, so scrumptious! We also learned how to make a delicious carrot salad, eggplant appetizer and a to die for chicken. We drank a traditional style tea when we got there, but if you know us we eventually busted the wine out!!! It was a great afternoon and we thank Leslye for being such a great host. She even offered to donate another cooking class for this years auction for the Libraries. The event will be on June 28 at the Latin American Museum of art. I am helping again this year with securing auction items and would love to know if anyone has any donations.
